NİHAN UYGUN KARAMAN

Nihan Uygun Karaman graduated from Eskişehir Cemal Mümtaz Anatolian Teacher High School and completed her legal education at Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Law as a full-scholarship student.

Following law school, she worked at a law firm active in private law and insurance law, gaining experience particularly in corporate law, insurance law and compensation law. During this period, she represented Turkish and foreign-capital insurance companies as counsel and legal adviser.

Nihan Uygun Karaman focuses particularly on insurance law and compensation disputes arising from bodily injury. She advises clients at different stages of insurance disputes, from the assessment of disability ratios to actuarial calculations, and represents them in compensation disputes before courts and the Insurance Arbitration Commission.
